the juicy details (my story)

coldcitrus.co was born out of my obsession with bringing  ideas to life. As a young, technology-obsessed child in 2008, I recall signing up for a site called GirlSense (R.I.P.) using the username "coldcitrus" as an alias for a virtual storefront to "sell" customized digital apparel to other users around the world. Since then, the name has stuck with me as a frequent reminder of my love for creating and was the name of many of my online accounts growing up.

As a business school graduate and eventual marketing professional, I would spend countless hours thinking of imaginary business ideas, making logos and promotional materials for these daydream entities, and developing color palettes. And, still, the coldcitrus moniker persistently appeared as the default title for my "companies." That passion drove me to go to law school with an aim to help small businesses – particularly those that are from typically underserved populations – in being able to exist (and thrive) alongside industry giants. I dedicated a significant portion of my law school training towards learning the complexities of intellectual property (IP) and its importance in being able to protect the ripe ideas of underprivileged entrepreneurs. 

After working for a top global corporate law firm, I was trained a great deal to be able to identify the challenges that companies of all sizes face and how to effectively overcome and proactively prevent common pitfalls of entrepreneurship journeys. After leaving the life of a corporate attorney behind, I found myself eyes-deep in the world of beauty and personal care as the owner of my own permanent cosmetic and paramedical tattoo studio. As a beauty professional, I've found that numerous beauty businesses are in need of helpful, easy-to-understand branding expertise at reasonable prices that don't require sacrificing a portion of future earnings. That's when coldcirtus.co was born. Since its conception, coldcitrus.co is a beauty brand consultancy that has dedicated itself to growing beauty brands of all sizes.
